Michael “Mike” Doggett has deep roots in the State of Montana that he puts to work for his clients to maximize the value of every case.
Mike is a sixth-generation Montanan, born and raised in Helena. He graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2010.
The Doggett family history in Montana dates back to 1862. Mike’s great-grandfather, Howard Doggett, served in the Montana State Senate and the Eisenhower administration as the Assistant Secretary of Agriculture (Director of the Northwest Region) and as the U.S. Agricultural Attaché to Brussels. Mike’s maternal family has deep roots in the Mediterranean and Irish communities of Butte, Montana.
In 2024, the Doggett family’s 36,000-acre ranch asset, the Camas Creek Cattle & Sheep Company, sold in one of the largest ranch transactions in Montana history.

Mike’s grandparents lived and worked on the ranch and were active in various civic causes, including the University of Montana Foundation Board. His parents, Stuart and Janice Doggett, are longtime contributors to the Montana Historical Society and the state’s legal community.
Mike lives and works out of offices in Missoula and Helena. He has three great kids and a wonderful wife who tolerates his late-night brief writing.
