Michael Doggett and Doggett Law was the primary architect of the claims of multiple women assaulted by Dr. Patrick McGree in Butte, Montana. Michael Doggett and Doggett Law Offices pursued claims through the Montana-Medical Legal Panel and district court, eventually recruiting the assistance of a larger firm as the claims began to snowball. As part of the claims process, we obtained a favorable declaratory judgment ruling from federal district court requiring all claims to be paid, which resulted in the exhaustion of the policy limits. In one of the prouder moments of his law practice, Mr. Doggett received a personal thank you from the first victim of Dr. McGree to come forward with her abuse, although the firm did not get the chance to represent her.
Michael Doggett and Doggett Law Offices represented one young man and the estates of two others against Dr. Stanley Patrick Weber. Doggett Law, along with two other law firms, obtained a landmark $18 Million settlement for all of the victims from the federal government.
Michael Doggett and Doggett Law, and now another law firm, represent several people sexually abused by pastor Dean Smith, primarily on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. The initial claim has been filed in district court and litigation is ongoing. Please contact us today we can help you with your claim.
